The 1064 nm wavelength penetrates deep into dermal and subcutaneous tissue, selectively targeting haemoglobin in blood vessels, melanin in hair follicles and fungal pathogens in nail beds. 2. Working Principle

The 1064 nm near‑infrared Nd:YAG laser delivers controlled thermal energy through a fiber‑optic delivery system:

1. Vascular Treatment: 1064 nm light is selectively absorbed by oxyhaemoglobin in dilated blood vessels. The absorbed energy converts into heat, coagulating and sealing the vessel wall. The treated vessel is gradually reabsorbed by the body's natural metabolic process, effectively reducing spider veins, leg veins and vascular lesions.

2. Hair Removal: Laser energy targets melanin in the hair follicle and bulb, raising follicle temperature to the coagulation threshold to disable regenerative capacity. Long pulse width allows deep, uniform heating of follicles for effective hair reduction, especially safe for darker and tanned skin types.

3. Onychomycosis Treatment: 1064 nm laser penetrates the nail plate to reach the nail bed, generating controlled heat that inhibits fungal growth and stimulates immune response, improving the appearance of fungal nails without damaging surrounding healthy tissue.
